Happy to be invited back to the Cupola Gallery in Hillsborough to restore the celebratory Tour De France mural I painted in 2014.
My piece for City of Colours 2016 I returned to a style I have been wanting to continue exploring since I first started out. Combined with 3D wave pattern.
I started the year off with a small branding commission for LTBL productions, an independent film company based in Sheffield. Their only preference was high contract so it gave me an opportunity to take new direction and explore a fascination with Dazzle Camouflage. I very much enjoyed experimenting with many different designs and ended up with this symmetrical tesselated pattern.
Large scale mural on the side of the Cupola Contemporary Gallery in Hillsborough, Sheffield, to celebrate the Tour de France and it’s close passing through the area as part of the Tour de Yorkshire leg of the race. Featuring four racers in colour schemes to match the four main Jersey types. The 3D effect to the right created to represent the hills of Yorkshire is something I have explored further in my work. Thankyou to Karen Sherwood and Graham Shapley of Cupola gallery for the opportunity.
Commissioned by the Fez club, Sheffield to create artwork for the stairwell leading up to the main room. With full creative freedom granted I chose a colour scheme and used shape to create a flow up the stairs. I used anamorphosis to create the Fez feature wall.
Mural created for Caledonia Works- Industrial Tenant space for businesses on Mowbray Street, Sheffield. Commissioned by www.filmpool.org.uk
